Hambu Café

The Buffet & Evening Ceremony

Once the sun goes down, the grounds turn into a different kind of evening — a home-style buffet spread in clay pots, string lights, and for groups who arrange it ahead, fire dancing and live drumming.

What's on the Table

A Home-Style Spread, Family Style

Set out in traditional clay pots, the way it's cooked in a Sri Lankan home kitchen — not a fixed menu, but a rotation built around what's fresh.

The Spread

Steamed rice, a rotation of vegetable curries and sambols, a protein of the day (chicken, lake fish or egg), and crisp poppadoms — all served in clay pots, family style.

Pairs With the Ceremony

The buffet is often served alongside our traditional evening ceremony — fire dancing and live drumming under the canopy — arranged together for groups by request.

Booking & Group Pricing

The buffet is arranged in advance for groups — pricing depends on headcount and whether you'd like the evening ceremony too. Message us your date and numbers and we'll plan it with you.
